Mehta Committee Report for Faculty and Scientific/Design Staff of Central Technical Institutes.

At last the much awaited Mehta Committee report is here. It is not published in any official website till now. Our sources found the site from which it could be easily downloaded.

The report is based on the sixth pay commission report for central Govt employees.

"This challenge of attracting new  talent to teaching in higher learning technical, scientific and manegement institutions will become accentuated in the light of scores of institutions proposed to be opened during the current plan period.

Part of the solution therefore lies obviously in making the profession more attractive in terms of salary and allowances, adequate monetary compensation for better performance,......."

This report was already known to everybody by 26th of March. Teachers are now fed up with the dealy and the way MHRD unneccessarily streched the process for nothing. If anybody compares the Mehta report with the Chadha report it can be known that there was no reason for this much inordinate delay. Teachers are now interested only in the pay notification and new salaries.

Now everything is over and new government is also in office. Now atleast HHRD should wake up and notify the long waited pay revison of tech faculties such IIT/IIM/IIIT/NIT/ISM and others. Around one year is going to be over when 6th pay comission was implemented from all central govt. emplyee.
Teachers are now interested in the pay notification only so that they can get june salary by enhanced rate.
