On 12th July, a delegation of AIFPTO officials met Smt. D. Purandeswari, Hon'ble Minister of State for HRD . They submitted a representation urging the Minister to expedite the Notification for revision of Pay scales of Polytechnic teachers who are the only left over category in the entire country whose pay scales are yet to be revised. The Minister has agreed that the issue is delayed and promised the delegation to take up the issue as soon as she is back in New Delhi later this week.
AICTE Pay Revision : Bribe case may delay implementation
AICTE Top offical's houses was raided recently by CBI. AICTE member secretary was caught while bribing 5 lakh from two private institution of Andhra. As he is a member of aicte pay revision committee and interministerial committee,AICTE pay commission may delay further.

Next may be a UGC officer takes bribe and hold the pay revision of technical teachers all over the country. further a MHRD official takes bribe and hold the pay revision of technical teachers all over the country. Looks like the foreign competitors too have bribed the officials to stop INDIA from becoming a superpower in any distant future
