The Haryana Government has sanctioned revised pay scales for the staff of the State-owned power undertakings - Haryana Power Generation Corporation, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam - with effect from January 1, 2006, benefiting 31,291 employees.
Announcing this on Friday, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the tentative arrears concerning the Sixth Pay Commission from January 1, 2006, to March 31, 2009, would total Rs.471.41 crore. The tentative annual implication of pay revision during 2009-10 would be Rs.312.16 crore.
