Bank Pension : Affidavit filed by AIBEA and NCBE in Madras High Court.

In this regard, we have to inform that though hearing was fixed for today i.e. 6th July 2010, it was not listed in the Cause List for today so no hearing took place. We have been informed by our friends from Canara Bank Workers Union that it is not listed in the Cause List for tomorrow either, so no hearing would take place tomorrow too. As and when new date for hearing is fixed, we will let every one know.

However, General Secretary of AIBEA Shri CH Venkatachalam has filed counter affidavit not only on behalf of AIBEA but on behalf of NCBE too. This counter affidavit can be viewed and perused by clicking the following link:

View the affidavit

It is amazing that while IBA is yet to submit its counter affidavit, these two Unions were in a hurry to oppose the petition and plead for vacation of stay order granted by Hon'ble High Court.

The view point of other three workmen unions viz. BEFI, NOBW and INBEF has not come on papers. Let us wait and see what they have to say in the matter.
