Punjab Government released 5% Dearness Allowance for it's employees, But will be in GPF now, cash from next January.
The Punjab Government today released DA instalment to its employees and pensioners for July at the rate of five per cent.
The arrears upto December 2009 would be deposited in the GPF of the employees, an official spokesman said here.
DA would be paid in cash from January 2010 and this will entail an annual expenditure of Rs 455.50 crore to the state exchequer, he said.
