Central Govt. Pensioners those were not covered under CGHS and were in reciept of Fixed Medical Allowance as per the recommendation of fifth Pay Commission, Rs 100 P. M. will now be getting Rs 300 P.M with effect from 01/09/2008.
The demand for enhancement of Medical Allowance was pending for a long time with the Govt.
