Bank and LIC employees meet Finance Minister on wage issue, get assurance

New Delhi, Oct 18 (PTI) Representatives of bank employees, accompanied by Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, today took the issue of early settlement of their wage revision to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who assured them that the matter would be expedited.
Javadekar, who earlier worked as bank employees before actively getting into the politics, said the wage revision of public sector bank employees has been due since November 2012.

He also led a separate delegation of LIC employees to the Finance Minister to press the demand for justice for LIC employees and officers whose wage negotiations have altered.

Privatise all the banks and insurance companies.Foolish congress govt in Karnataka has Govt insurance department .Why govt has to maintain an Insurance dept when there are so many private players?This is due to lack of innovation and ideas on part of IAS(I am Arrogant Servive)

Public sector insurance companies and banks are must for Indian people because pvt sector insurance companies and banks are only in the market to make money and suck the hard earned income of common man.it is the only PSUs who can safeguard the interest of common man.
