Chandigarh, Apr 12 (PTI) The Haryana government today enhanced the rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) payable to the state government employees and Dearness Relief to its pensioners from existing 58 per cent to 65 per cent with effect from January 1, 2012. The employees would get DA in cash with effect from April, 2012. The arrears from January to March would be paid in cash, an official spokesman said here. He said that by giving the Dearness Allowances from January 1, 2012 to February 2013, the Government would bear an expenditure of Rs 639.58 crore.
