There is a guideline to seek permission for travelling in non-Air-India flight, when flights are non-available or when it is absolutely needed to travel by other airlines. Unfortunately, it is proven impossible to seek any response to number of e-mails or letters written to Mr. Chikkara for obtaining permission. What one should do in such situations?
