SINCE THE GOVERNMENT IS PROVIDING CAPITAL INFUSION TO THE TUNE OF 16500 CRORES THROUGH WORLD BANK LOAN ,TO MAJORITY OF THE BANKS IN TWO STAGES DURING 2010.11FOR MEETING CAR , THE WAGE REVISION MIGHT GET DELAYED TECHNICALLY TILL MARCH 31 ST, WE CAN HOPE THAT THE MEETING OF UFBU LEADERS WITH IBA CHIEF ON 11 MARCH AND THE FOLLOW UP MEETING ON 17TH WILL COMPLETE THE SETTLEMENT AND APRIL SALARY MAY BE THE NEW SALARY .THIS IS MY WISHFUL THINKING IF THERE IS NO FURTHER HIDDEN AGENDA.GOVT ALSO CAN SHOW A VERY HEALTHY BALACE SHEET

A REQUEST TO IBA CHIEF ON THE EVE OF MARCH 11 TH CRUCIAL MEET

PLEASE DO NOT STAND IN THE WAY OF BANK MEN GETTING GOOD REVISION
ADVISE YOUR TEAM TO BE LIBERAL BY RELATIVITY THEORY/BASIS ON WHICH PILLAI COMMITTEE WAS FORMED
THE CHAIRMAN CAN IMAGINE HIS POSITION AS OFFICER , EVEN FOR A MOMENT , HE CAN SEE MORE THAN 100% JUSTIFICATION IN ENHANCING THE SCALES MORE THAN THE PERCENTAGE PROPOSED
BY TOUGH NEGOTIATION YOU ARE NOT GAINING ANY THING ,FEW HUNDREDS OF CRORES MEAN NOTHING TO THE EXCHEQUER BUT THE MEMBERS ARE LOOSING MUCH AND THEIR STATUS IS COMING DOWN WHICH MAY NOT BE RECTIFIED.YOU WILL BE BLESSED WITH POSITIVE VIBRATIONS FROM NEARLY A MILLION BANKMEN IF YOU APPROACH IN A MORE POSITIVE WAY. SO TRY TO GET A PLACE IN THEIR HEARTS BY WAY OF YOUR GOOD GESTURE TO BANK MEN/PENSIONERS/ARREARS TO SECOND OPTION / 100% NEUTRALISATION OF DA TO PRE 01.11.2002 PENSIONERS ETC ETC.
HENCE PLEASE ADVISE YOUR NEGOTIATING TEAM AS PER UFBU S DEMAND WHICH ITSELF IS RIDICULOUS WHEN COMPARED TO VI TH PAY COMMISSION STANDARDS AS FOR AS OFFICERS ARE CONECERNED WHICH EVERYONE KNOWS VERY WELL
100% DA NEUTRALISATION TO PRE 01.11.2002 ALSO TO BE CONSIDRED TO YOUR FELLOW SENIOR BANKERS WHO ARE STRUGGLING .

Dear Balan,
I am afraid whether the"Request" to IBA Chief will come to his conscious
knowledge, if it is posted in this blog only.Is there any way to send this to him direct? Pl. think over this.
Otherwise it will be like a wild
cry in the forest falling on deaf
ears!

The request of Sri Balan may or may not come to the conscious knowledge of responsible and just thinking authorities in IBA. It is an excellent idea to bring the frustration of Bankmen and women to the knowledge of IBA. Even better will be to keep this frustration informed to the Ministry of Finance, Banking Division. Paycommision can collect views of all and submit the same to IBA and Ministry as an authenticated version. Even an attempt can be made to bring it to the knowledge of Legal experts, where frustration and unhappiness can be treated as PIL and fresh negotiations can begin- let it take another 3 years- because we are now leaderless and leave it to the mercy of Central Government for kind consideration and just decision

Referring Mitul 10, 2010 3:04 PM:

"SO CALLED 17.5% of their profits"

What does it mean? I know it as 17.5% wage load/expenses on present/existing wage load/expenses. And “of their profit" isn't a wrong interpretation in this context?

"why do people shouting for the parity with RBI scales"

Who are the people shouting for the parity with RBI scales? Please mention. Employees, working in District offices are asking for CSS New-Delhi scale. Does it mean that they are to get it? Similarly RRB's so called back door entry made officers/ employees had asked for NABARD scale on the pretext of NRBI. Had it ever fulfilled? Note 'Wishes Aren't Horses'.

Thanks.

Really all the blog members should be thankful to Mr. Balan, Chandan, Venugopal, PM and others for sharing their valuable thoughts. Definitely if it reaches either UFBU or IBA and they are taking the views seriously good things will happen for the bank employees. Please update the blog members about the outcome of today's meeting.

We all knows UFBU Leader's Valuation Report by Dy.Engineer(IBA small committee) and If anbody has today's latest VALUATION REPORT OF OUR FOUR BANGLOWS(4 associations) BY EX.ENGINEER(chaieman IBA)
then post here for employees welfare.
So We can judge them more clearly.

4 "the people" went to

"Bury" the people (bank employees)

"FAR" off the people
(from Bankemployees).

The delers(leaders) would have struck a better deal(for their own favour)

Charman would have secretly become "Cheerman".

Each so called announcement of talks-- one more nail in the coffins of bank employees.

Leaders and IBA will make it "dead sure".

PM said...

01.After the talks dt.25.02.10, AIBOC stated that there was no positive response form the IBA on none of their proposals.
-IBA stuck to their method of calculation of additional cost on HRA pension and distribution of wage load of 17.5% on various scales.
-It appeared to Union that talks have reached to a dead end.
The discussions concluded without any fruitful result.
02. Now it is informed that the four officers Union met the Chairman ,IBA and his team on 11.03.10 and result is fruitful!
What we have to infer?
All the above issues are sorted out or again they have to meet with small/core group for further talks to sort out above issues ?
Let us watch the game so that FY end will go smoothly without any problem from employees side.
03.How beautiful it is? IBA will become adamant one day .Talks becomes unfruitful. Still leaders have no protests or further actions!!Now it has become fruitful!!
Only one point Leaders forget . If they adhered to time frame of MOU dt.27.11.09 matter should have been settled in a dignified manner. Delay may not bring any good thing to employees or retirees.

Sanjay Bhatt said...

If IBA will back from all partly understanding and talks will failed like past then UFBU will come in action then nobody can forgive them for lost of chances.March is also chance for us.

Remember that IBA has already gone back from promeiss(17.5 % to 12%)and result of this action was MOU dt:27/11/2009,Now same condition is going on IBA not honored time limit of MOU.Then also leaders requesting to IBA.This is power of our leaders.

After 25th March not join in any agitation calls from cheater leaders.

1/2 days strike should not be entertained by us and indefinite strike will also should be not entertained after March.

I think We should not hope our securities from Leaders,When they also afraid from IBA and GOI.They have not gaurntee for their safety then How can they provide us?

These are all not pertaining with pension and wage but for our future.

REMEMBER.....

Hope that the proposed meeting of 4 Banks officers Associations with the IBA on 15/03/2010 brings some cheers among bankers. Let us hope that the settled salary structure gives a minimum level of respectability to PSBs officers and employees.

PM said...

Ref;Neeraj 14th March.
We should not expect any great thing on 15th March. Its only another date announced by leaders in routine manner.Members can just discuss and anticipate till they get a fresh date later!!
01.It should be borne in mind that whatever allocation takes place it may not go beyond 17.5%
02.Pension option also may not have retrospective effect.
Then what to cheer about?
So wait till we hear the news of final settlement. For the past two years leaders could not keep up their words!

We have been listening since long that the talks between IBA & the Unions/ associations have ended on a positive note......But, what happens to their positiveness when it comes for the execution of the positively ended/concluded meeting points. It is truly said you can't understand these politicians. God knows whether he himself had understood these leaders or not..?
