Union leaders accepted the proposal made by management on 16th October summarily and demanded certain improvements.
Regarding PLLI, in which proposal was silent, the unions were informed that management had taken up the issue with govt. to calculate the PLLI on the basis of the current wage. The ED(P) further informed that the improvement in calculation will be effective from 2013-14.
Stagnation increment will be considered to avoid anomalies.
Management agreed to increase ceiling for both HRA and CCA.
Improvement of LTC and encashment demanded.
Paternity leave, child care leave to be introduced - positive response from management.
As per the circular issued by the Gen Secy. AIIEA, THE union is very much satisfied with the revision -
"We have achieved a splendid wage revision in the most difficult economic and political environment."

17 to 21% overall, but way off the mark frm 2010. More needs to be done.
Should give good response for lower grade servants..... More preference for paramilitary security personnel...
