Status of Implementation of OROP : Govt. version

The principle of One Rank One Pension for the Armed Forces has been accepted by the Government. The modalities for implementation were discussed with various stakeholders and are presently under consideration of the Government. It will be implemented once the modalities are approved by the Government. 

This information was given by Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to Shri Neeraj Shekhar and others in Rajya Sabha today.

Disheartening news. It's just the reprinted stuff. The present situation and the motive of GOI are inexplicable. Hence, no further comments, let it to wise mass.

Central Government is seeking for some reasonable time to study the case before implementation orders are approved through different channels.Beyond this point no valid reasons can be attributed to the valid topic.

From time to time we keep hearing that various stake holders are being consulted. Are the IESM one of these stake holders?
