Bank D.A. to increase 4 slabs for May/June/July 2015

ONLY AN INCREASE OF 4 SLABS IN DA FOR BANK WORKMEN/OFFICERS FOR NEXT QUARTER - MAY,JUNE,JULY ‘15.
All India Consumer Price Index Number (AICPIN)for Industrial Workers (IW)Base 2001=100 for the month of MARCH 2015 has been released by Labour Bureau,Ministry of Labour ,GOI today which stood 254 points with an Increase of 1 points while compared to February figure.
Accordingly the confirmed All India Consumer Price index Numbers(IW) Base 1960=100 for past quarter will be as follows:
Months Base 2001=100 1960=100
January’15. 254 5797.78
February 253 5774.95
March 254 5797.78
Average Index Number 5790.17
Based on above average confirmed index number, DA payable for Bank workmen and Officers for next quarter - May,June July’15 - may go up to 4 slabs at 110.70% , from existing 110.10%
