same running pay band and grade pay system for seventh pay commission also, the

If this becomes realistic,Karnataka govt group "A" officers salary( Not Basic pay) will be less than a central govt group "D" employee's BASIC PAY. Better to become a peon in central govt than a class 1 officer in Karnataka government.
The present initial basic pay of gazetted group A is Rs 28100 and carries DA of 21% and if he has govt accommodation his gross salary will be Rs 34001.The proposed basic pay for PB-1 which is meant for Group D employees is Rs 34080.Inference-Group D employees of central govt are better placed than Gazetted group A employees of Karnataka state.
Is there no government employees association in Karnataka?
