Bank Bipartite update : IBA & UFBU talk fails again, Bank strike on February 2014

As per information available with us, today's (27th Jan'14) bipartite talk between IBA and United Forum of Bank Unions fails again. IBA offered nominal increase of offer to 10% from 9.5% earlier which is rejected by the unions. 
UFBU decided to call for two days' Bank Strike on 10th and 11th February 2014.
Details of the meeting is still awaited.

It appears the IBA and Govt is not serous about settlement. Banking is one of the prime barometer for the economy and if it neglected the outcome is very dangerous. The remuneration should be comparable to others in same level playing field.
