Central employees likely to get new allowances from January'17

It is reported from sources in the Ministry of Finance that centre likely to start disbursing allowances at higher rate in the next calendar year.
It is learnt that due to demonetization and cash crunch, the process is delayed. It is likely to be paid from January 2017.
Regarding date of effect, though the decision is yet to be taken but it is widely anticipated that fatter allowances will be effected from August 2016 and arrears to be paid in one go in January 2017.
As far as rate of allowances, the source added that the committee will stick to the pay commission recommendation. So the possibility to get something higher looks remote.
It is also reported that Govt. may consider only against abolishing of a few allowances as a populist measure.

Contradictory statement, you say that the employees will get fatter allowances and further add that possibility to get something higher looks remote. How come?

It was meant that Govt. may not give anything more than pay panel proposal but considering the quantum of allowances as per 7th CPC, it will be definitely fatter than present allowances. -Admin

Now every body guessing that delay is due to demonetization. In January the so called sources will start saying it will delivered after budget then after elections in states and so on...till next general elections.

Throw out ShivGopal Mishra and those who keep silence about his betrayal from the leadership of C G employees.Confederation of CG employees and workers has announced strike drama to save the face of ShivGopal Mishra and the NJCA.Dear employees, please use your common sense. Did the leaders of the Confederation ever said about the silence of ShivGopal Mishra and NJCA?Remember that the Confederation always justified ShivGopal Mishra and NJCA,especially in the occasion of the"deferring" of the strike of July.Ask this question to yourself and your leaders. They will never answer to what you have asked. Now,by announcing strike programmes<the Confederation leaders are saying to ShivGopal Mishra-"Sir,Please be safe and just write letters to the Govt once in three months and do nothing else.We shall cheat our rank and file and pull them to strike. You and the NJCA will lose nothing."

And now the news came that the dharna near parliament has been deffered....what a union, thinking about govt rather than its own rank & file. When the union leader is getting all the fatty things then why they will care abt employees.
