West Bengal CM wants centre to pay state employees' D.A.

Kolkata, Feb 22 (PTI) Centre should come forward and pay the dearness allowance of state government employees as well, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee demanded today.
"Whenever the Centre announces DA, state government employees should be given the same on a par (with central government employees).
"They (Centre) give it (to central government employees) before elections. Will others (state government employees) suck their thumbs?" Banerjee asked.
"We want the Centre to pay the DA for (state government) employees," Banerjee said.

Right you are. When CM and PM both will be the same person, the demand will be fulfilled. State Employees, please pray to Anna !!!!!!!!

in dream all WB people!!!! How can center pay for state employee, then what is the use of state govt. they will then do goon work and loot, rape and make India suffer by TMC.

What are doing madam.If u can not arrange for DA then no right to rule and means financial anarchy. All other states are better financially managed than WE.

At present the state Govt employees are lagging about 60% of emoluments than that of Central Govt employees.How can the staff be asked to work diligently with half pay.
