Bihar increases D.A. from January 2012


Bihar Government has   decided to increase the dearness allowance (DA) by 7 per cent from 58 per cent to 65 per cent to all the state government employees and the pensioners with effect from January 1.
The meeting of state cabinet presided over by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held here this evening and took a decision to this effect.
Later briefing reporters, state cabinet secretary Ravi Kant said the cabinet decided to increase by 7 per cent the DA of all serving state government employees and pensioners in Bihar.It would facilitate the state government employees and pensioners to receive the benefit of DA from 58 per cent to 65 per cent, Ravi Kant said.
