Tamilnadu increases 6% D.A. from January 2011. Download the Order.

As per the existing terms of implementation of increase of DA the Government of TamilNadu has issued orders on 28th March 2011 vide its order number 98 dated 28th March 2011 has increased the percentage of DA from 45 to 51 with effect from 1st January 2011.The amount will be paid in cash with effect from 1st January 2011.
The new DA increment will be applicable only for the full time government employees of Tamil Nadu Government. This increment is also applicable to the full time employees those who have been appointed by the other expenses of finance committee. This increment is not applicable for the part time employees of Tamil Nadu government. The increased DA is also applicable for the teaching and non teaching staff of aided Educational Institution, Home and Rural department employees, University teachers, Librarians, Physical Education teachers, Village administrators, Child welfare employees, Panchayat and village assistants and clerks, Cooking and care taker of noon lunch persons.
