Calcutta HC employees threaten strike

Kolkata, Sep 21 (PTI) Employee associations at the Calcutta High Court today threatened to go on an indefinite strike from tomorrow to press their demand for pay revision.


Hundreds of employees of the High Court, including court officers, have threatened to launch a strike from tomorrow if their demands were not met immediately, court officials said.

The employees have been demanding pay revision claiming that the rising prices of essential commodities had made their lives miserable.
