AN APPEAL TO EVERY ONE CONCERNED WITH THE PENSION ISSUE TO NORMAL VRS AND RESIGNEES:

1.Can We write a letter to National Human Rights Commission,N.Delhi also in this regard?
2.Whether the press and media people and opposite Political parties can be involved in raising the issue in parliament? All the concerned are requested to use their contacts since we do not expect any thing more from our IBA/unions because of their indifferent and casual attitude on the issue of pension to normal retirees and resignees.

As far as my knowledge goes, National Human Rights Commission will not entertain this type of complaints since it is out of the perview of their jurisdiction. No human right is violated in this aspect.

It is learnt that the board meeting of Syndicate Bank has been postponed to second week of September 2010.In some other banks even after approval in the board, circulars are not yet released. Anxiety of senior citizens, retirees and employees has no relevance to managements. By making simple things complicated some get sadistic pleasure.

Board meeting of Syndicate Bank appears to have been postponed from the earlier dates on account of probably transfer of ED.Any how as informed by Mr.Shankar let us hope it is held soon. Why was it not mandatory for all Banks to issue circular on the same day is not clear to lay man like me. Probably no one cares about the small group who are anxiously waiting for pension.Compare this with the alacrity with which remuneration of MPs was hiked twice in quick succession. Vasudevan

Bank Employees Pension Option
________________________________-----All the signatory unions are silent. Even after the directions from IBA on 10.08.2010 still some banks are not in a position to issue option circular. Their employees are waiting eagerly.
Unions should see that why this is going on?Bankers are requestig unions and IBA to start the gate way of pension should be opened simultaneously in all the banks.
The computation of 60 days period and the period of 30 dayys are differing banks to banks. Some banks are asking choice for commutation in option forms and in some banks are not asking the same in these option forms. These will take another round of asking applications from the retirees that whether they want to commute or not?
Unions should see that by this cheating act hundreds will loose their commutation factor by one year. What type of Industry-wisw settlement is this?
No union is stopping them. UFBU please come and please stop banks for such hidden atrocities by the IBA/Banks. Whether N H R C can be involved?
Pl. do something for your members and your Ex-members.
Thanks to all.
