Clarification on MACP. Incremental benefit for CBEC Officers.

Clarification was sought from the Establishment (D) Section of DOP&T. In terms of para 8.1 of MACP scheme dated 19.05.2009, it has been clarified that such officials (DR Assistants/DR Grade 'C' Stenographers) who have got Non-functional grade (NFG) in the pay scale of Rs.5400/- would only be entitled for 3rd financial upgradation in the immediate higher grade pay of Rs.6600 on completion of 30 years of continuous service. No further financial upgradation would be admissible to such officials.

Increment benefit for CBEC Group B Officers

Group B Officers of CBEC are also to be granted increment when they are non-functionally upgraded to grade pay of consequent on issue of orders for grant of increment on Non functional upgradation to ITOs by Income Tax Department.
