AICTE Pay Update : A.G.P. Partially restored.

Recent Update : Mrs. Prathima Dixit , Director(TC), Ministry of HRD has informed to AIFPTO that the Pay revision Report would be issued today(21-01-2010)

As per reliable source we got to know that The AGP problem of Lect and Sr. Lect has been sorted out and has been made at par with UGC. However, the AGP of Lect Sel Grade , as on date, is still Rs.6000/-.

Following is the copy of letter from the President, Association of Gazetted Officers Technical Education, Delhi regarding the present situation of Polytechnic Teachers' pay hike.

"8th Jan 2010
Dear Colleagues:
Let me first wish all my colleaguess a very happy and peaceful 2010!!!!!!!!!!
The AGP problem of Lect and Sr. Lect has been sorted out and has been made at par with UGC. However, the AGP of Lect Sel Grade , as on date, is still Rs.6000/-.
However, we have met Sh Ashok Thakur,Dr Paliwal,S S Mantha Chairman AICTE, Ms Pratima Dikshit and other senior officials yesterday. Based on our discussions with them, we feel the AGP of Lect Sel Grade shall also be increased to that of the UGC.
All colleagues , spread across the country , are requested not to call or disturb MHRD/AICTE officials anymore. Just be patient for 4/5 days (working days) for things to crystalize.
Infact I hope, and wish that soon we may have to thank AICTE/MHRD for getting us out of the woods. We have to express special thanks to Sh Kapil Sibal Hon’lble Union Minister for MHRD and Smt Purandeswari Devi Hon’lble Union MoS MHRD and AIFPTO for their continued support for our cause. However, we should keep our fingers crossed till the actual notification happens.I am sure the New Year 2010 shall usher in a lot of happiness for ALL OF US.
