Good News On AICTE Pay for Polytechnic faculty.
On the request of AIFPTO, Honble HRD Minister Sri.Kapil Sibal sent a note to AICTE to consider the demands of AIFPTO for inclusion of PB-4 and re submit the proposal to MHRD.
It can be safely assumed that polytechnic faculty will get PB-IV at par with their engineering college counterparts.

I am assistant in the ministry of law, As all know, in the CSS cadre scale was revised in the month of september, 2006 from 5500 to 6500. Is this order will apply to assistant of CSS or not
As on 1-1-06 for those whose scale of pay were on old 6500/- are only eligible to apply this grade pay.
This in a political atmosphere where the central govt employees gained a stupendous increase in their wages even beyond their wild dreams, that too with out the need to flex their union muscles even once. The Govt was generous to a fault and did not grudge the employees this bonanza, out of the revenue kit of the Govt. On the contrary present pay structure in the Indian banking industries, if one joins as a clerk he gets a salary or Rs7300/- in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai or any other metropolis and of still lesser amount when he posted in smaller towns, as some allowances are not admissible there. With the ongoing wage negotiations, the proposed hike will get them Rs9300/- per month; whereas the person stands to get far better salary with lesser responsibility with any central or state government jobs. What a paradox!
As per dopt, O.M. 13 nov.2009, grade pay of Rs.4600-granted to who were drawing pay in the pre-revised scale of Rs.6500-10500. But, It is not clear for autonomous body employees. Kindly issue one more order in respect of grade pay 4600 for autonomous employees mentioning without IFD consultation.

I am working in DIT under Minstry of Communication & I.T in the scale of 6500-200-10500 (joining date - june 2006).
After implementation of 6th PayComm, My basic became Rs.13500 [my grade pay is 4200/- in the pay band of 9300-34800].
Promotion Case
My basic is 14760 before promotion. I got the promotion on November 2009. After promotion, the basic salary fixed by dept. is 15610 [9300-34800 , gradepay 4600].
The main issue is who joined (direct recruitment) in 9300-34800 ,gradepay 4600 , the basic salary of those is 17410.
Can anybody suggest me that in the same post, two basic amount is fixed ??
the new basic pay on promotion can not be less tnan direct recruit initial pay that is 17140 for 4600 grade pay . it appears ur department babubs are duffer
