WB Govt : Pay commission report this month, Another 6% DA from March 1.

The state FM yesterday announced a 6% DA payable from 1st March this year. He also assured again that the pay commission report will be made available this month and will be implemented from 1st April 2009. He also added that Loksabha Election will not be a barrier to implement the hike as it was passed in the last winter session of the State Assembly. The proposed pay hike will not be barred by the model code of conduct of election, according to Mr Asim Dasgupta, the West Bengal Finance Minister.
